Adare Golf Course – an Excellent Irish Course and Great Place to Stay

Five-star accommodation awaits you in this grand house. The construction of the manor was started in 1832 by Lord Dunraven. It stands out to this day as a calendar house with its 365 stained windows and 52 chimneys to mark the passing of days and weeks of the year.

The Accommodation

This opulence of architecture offers 62 guestrooms which include a presidential suite, state rooms, deluxe rooms, and standard rooms. All these come exquisitely furnished with overhanging tapestries,private marble bathrooms, and artfully done fireplaces in some of the rooms.

Only a 15-minute walk from the Manor House are 46 villas set with luxuriant comforts that will let you create your own customized vacation. These villas come with 3 in suite bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen.

17 townhouses make for another alternative accommodation just 3 minutes away from the Manor. These come in either two-bedroom or four-bedroom selections with all the trimmings of the Manor House except for room service. Last, but in no way the least, is the Carriagehouse, which includes 10 bedrooms with in suite bathrooms and including room service.

The Golf Course

Attending the Manor House is an internationally acclaimed 18-hole golf course. It dominates the estate measuring 7, 453 yards from the tees. It was superbly designed by Robert Jones Sr. with walled streams cascading across the golf course. Sitting proudly in front of the first nine holes is a 14-acre lake, while the rest of the nine holes are evenly distributed within the green, wooded estate. To add serenity to the beauty is the River Maigue which slinks across the golf course to add yet another challenge to the meandering tees.

Although, the Manor House and Golf Course are currently closed for restoration, the guest houses and the rest of the accommodation are open for business. The Manor House and Golf Course are being refurbished and upgraded to even further heights of opulence.
